A string of huge names have been announced for STAGE @BHMallorca, Mallorca’s only open-air festival venue. Steve Aoki will perform on the 15th June at the opening party and on the 25th July and 22nd August. Aoki is one of the club scene’s most revered figures and was named as one North America’s highest-earning dance artist in 2012. He was worked with a number of world-famous acts including will.i.a.m, Afrojack, Louis Tomlinson and Iggy Azealia. His recent collaboration with former 1D star Louis Tomlinson, Just Hold On, reached #2 in the UK late last year, and he also scored hits with I’m In the House and 2011’s phenomenal No Beef.
Performing on 20th June, Tinie Tempah is arguably the biggest UK rapper of the 2000s and is on the cusp of releasing his third album, ‘Youth’, which is set to feature collaborations with MNEK, Ray BLK, the Eurhythmics’ Dave Stewart, Bugzy Malone and Kid Ink, as well as previous hits Girls Like featuring Zara Larsson and recent Tinashe collaboration Text From Your Ex. His debut #1, the legendary Pass Out, is now seven years old. Born Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu, he has now scored a stunning seven-chart toppers including guest appearances.
Example are also widely regarded as national treasure and 2017 will mark the tenth anniversary of his debut album What We Made, which preceded huge rap-tinged early 2010s dance-pop bangers like Changed the Way You Kissed Me, Stay Awake, Kickstarts and Say Nothing. The rapper-singer born Elliot Gleave will hit The Stage on June 17th.
The resurgent Craig David had a phenomenal 2016 after years of silence, cementing his status as one of the most important urban artists of the 21st century. David is set to celebrate his huge return to relevance on 18th July to perform highlights from his huge back catalogue like 7 Days and Fill Me In as well as more-recent smashes such as Nothing Like This, When the Bassline Drops and Ain’t Giving Up. The Southampton star has won over a whole new generation of fans since his re-emergence, many of whom weren’t even born when he dominated the early 2000s with his debut, Born to Do It. Meanwhile, the Creamfields team perform on 20th July.
Axwell Λ Ingrosso are amongst the most illustrious DJs and producers in the world as well as being two-thirds of early 2010s EDM supergroup Swedish House Mafia, who collaborated with Tinie Tempah in 2010 on the epic Miami 2 Ibiza. The duo formed in 2014, the year after Swedish House Mafia bowed out following their farewell tour and the global smash Don’t You Worry Child.
